We take gender diversity at ClearScore very seriously and we believe that a balanced and diverse workforce is better both for our business and our users.  Here are some of the things we are doing to promote greater gender diversity and equity in our organisation: 1️⃣ Removed pay negotiation and regularly benchmark salaries. Bonus and share option structure is transparent and non-negotiable. 2️⃣ Prioritise fostering inclusivity through investing in four employee community networks, including Women's Network. 3️⃣  Prioritise gender-inclusive language and refine job ads using Otta.com to ensure they resonate with diverse applicants. Our commitment extends to candidate shortlisting and hiring panels, where we strive for balanced representation, especially in leadership roles.  4️⃣ Partnering with diversity-focused institutions like Makers and Ada, the National College for Digital Skills, we actively cultivate a diverse talent pipeline, aiming for a minimum of 40% of hires that are women.  5️⃣ We invest in our ‘Women Rising’ program to identify, develop, and mentor future leaders. Annually, we select circa ten women for a six-month program, offering 1:1 coaching, peer training, and collaboration, fostering their unique leadership identities.  6️⃣ Leading policies on women’s health, fertility and menopause, backed by amazing partners such as Anya and Fertifa.    7️⃣ Full pension contributions during maternity leave and six months paid maternity leave, with a further six months at 25% pay.  💡 Read our full report for more details and to see our latest gender pay gap data.

6 weeks ago, I was invited to present the story of Anya to the Office for Life Sciences in UK Government! 😳 When I walked away from the Hollywood Film Industry, someone said to me “Chen you’ll either fall, or you’ll fly!” Fast forward 3.5 years and here I was, standing before an audience of 100+ civil servants at the magnificent HM Treasury building (100 Parliament Street), to share the journey of Anya and its impact on #maternity care in the UK! These civil servants work to develop national strategy and policies and support many of the leading healthcare innovation organisations who have funded and supported Anya including Health Innovation Network, NIHR (National Institute for Health and Care Research), SBRI Healthcare NHS Innovation Accelerator! Our invitation from Alex Mclaughlin, Deputy Director of Innovation and Growth for Offices for Life Sciences whose admiration for Anya’s inspiring story stemmed from our early days. Our journey has been marked by #resilience, #innovation, and an unwavering #commitment to our mission to support the UK population with #empathy and #innovation. We remain steadfast in our belief that every parent deserves access to 24/7 evidence based and compassion on their journey. Starting with the story of how Anya began, using my personal challenges during motherhood as a beacon to resonate with so many in our audience; the daunting struggles of breastfeeding, an unsettled baby and eventually postnatal depression. And with that, the burning desire in my belly to turn adversity into opportunity, I embarked on the journey of creating LatchAid, later rebranding as Anya. Drawing upon my BAFTA and Oscar winning expertise in visual effects, I envisioned a solution that would revolutionise maternal support in the UK, providing a true lifeline for those in need. Today, as Anya continues to expand its reach, touching the hearts of millions, we are reminded of the transformative power of innovation. Anya’s journey was presented opposite none other than Big Ben, serving as a huge milestone on our journey and truly recognising the importance of supporting the NHS and public healthcare systems through innovation.
