Common gynaecological conditions can take 10+ years to diagnose, impacting people's quality of life, ability to work and mental well-being. Meanwhile, biotech and pharma companies struggle to get the data they need to develop better treatments. Holding a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) and a Post-Doctoral residency, he has a rich background of 5 years as an ICU clinical pharmacist. His transition into software engineering marks a unique intersection of healthcare and AI, epitomized by his founding role at GalenAI. Brian Jang has a dynamic career journey as a pharmacist. Brian has evolved from his roots in community retail pharmacy to leadership roles in health tech startups, such as Carbon Health. In these positions, he played a pivotal part in expanding clinics nationwide, diversifying service lines, brokering strategic partnerships, and enhancing clinical and financial outcomes. Dalton Fabian, PharmD is a pharmacist with a passion for technology and data science. In his role as a data scientist, Dalton utilizes machine learning to improve clinical care, promote value-based care, and assist strategic planning for large health systems and health plans. I'm grateful to share that my research in healthcare data science has reached a new milestone with over 200 citations. My approach combines data science, machine learning, and deep learning to extract insights from EEG and other biomedical signals, aiming to improve mobility for individuals with neurological challenges. Concurrently, my work with electronic health records has contributed to predictive models for conditions like post-stroke cognitive impairment, dementia, and atrial fibrillation. As I transition towards industry, I am looking for opportunities where I can continue to apply my knowledge in a meaningful way. I am dedicated to using advanced analytics to enhance patient care and am searching for a team where this dedication can complement a shared vision for innovation in healthcare. Here we go. I can accept that technology is coming fast and that there is a balance between 100% AI and 100% human workforces, but I am really worried about what we are going to go through prior to finding that balance.
