To celebrate #Pride, we’re highlighting LGBTQIA+ Circana employees on our social media channels this month! Today we’re spotlighting Justin Nel, Elizabeth Phillips, Ryan P. Casey, and Ross V.. Justin and Ryan shared what Complete Pride means to them, and Liz and Ross each told us about an achievement they are most proud of.    “LGBTQIA+ Pride is about unity and solidarity. It means standing together as a community, supporting one another, and amplifying each other's voices. It means advocating for the rights and well-being of not only LGBTQIA+ individuals but also other marginalized groups facing intersecting forms of discrimination and oppression.” - Justin Nel, Commercial Director, Analytics and Media “I am most proud of my family. I’ve been married to my wife for 15 years and we have two boys (10 & 13) who are amazing little creatures. I am also very proud of being open about my sexuality without reservation since the age of 18. It wasn’t always easy, and it isn’t always possible for many in the LGBTQIA+ community, but I am proud that I started my career openly and continued to be open as I moved companies and roles. I am particularly proud of being a founding member of our DEI Advisory Board and helping raise voices in the company as we embraced diversity as a business principal.” - Elizabeth Phillips, Vice President, Product    “Pride is a time of celebration, remembrance, and visibility. As a community we celebrate all that we have achieved. We remember that it did not come easily, and we have more work ahead of us. We proudly stand together and visibly remind our communities that we are their family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers.”   - Ryan P. Casey, Deputy General Counsel & Chief Privacy Officer   “My local community in Seattle is called White Center Pride Committee and it is the most diverse and underserved community in Seattle (located in unincorporated King County). I’ve been part of White Center Pride since inception in 2019, gearing up for our second street festival this year! We’ve raised and distributed over $150,000 since 2021.”  - Ross V., Executive Director, Global Amazon & Subsidiaries

In honor of #Pride, we’re recognizing LGBTQ+ Circana employees on our social channels this month! This week, we’re spotlighting Todd Mick (he/him), Jules E. Green, Kristen McLean, and Andi Germain-Rasher. Jules and Kristen told us what “Circana Pride” means to them, and Todd and Andi shared how they’ll be celebrating this month. “This year me and my Husband Howard are going to focus on activism first and then celebration. We are making it a priority to attend events that focus on supporting Trans Youth this June and throughout the year. We will attend Stonewall Pride in Wilton Manors, Florida, and Heritage of Pride in New York City, making sure to support the Drag and Trans communities and always make time for great music and dancing to celebrate with our LGBTQIA+ community.” - Todd Mick (he/him), Executive Director Apparel and Active Brands + Innerwear Industry Analyst “I like to say that since I have blue hair, and I’m openly trans, every month is pride month when I’m around, haha. Circana does offer a ton of programs during pride month that really makes me feel celebrated; there’s discussion panels, guest speakers, and occasionally out of the office events; all of which makes me feel proud to be part of the team.” - Andi Germain-Rasher, Delivery Manager “This year, Circana Pride means continuing to be a proud and hopeful advocate for the trans community in the face of lots of scary news … I think Pride is about continuing to find joy and inspiration in this community, to spend extra time supporting those who need it now more than ever, and to never miss a chance to speak up, to build empathy, and to raise awareness using all the tools I can.” - Kristen McLean (she/her), Executive Director, Primary Industry Analyst, Books and Entertainment “Circana Pride means being unapologetic about who I am. It means celebrating my queerness whilst also sharing my vulnerabilities and strengths. I strive to bring all of me to every occasion and every moment, both personally and professionally. It is only in the last few years that I resolutely decided to bring my authentic self into the light, and I am proud of myself for choosing myself. Circana Pride means that I live my fullest life every day with, as they say, gay abandon!” - Jules E. Green (they/them), Director, Food & Grocery and Growth Enabling Team

We hope you’ve enjoyed following along this month as we featured AAPI Circana employees on our social channels! This week, we’re spotlighting Jennifer Chhatlani, Rod Labuni, and Ly C. Ng. We asked Jennifer and Rob what #AAPIHeritageMonth means to them, and Ly told us about an achievement she is most proud of. “Growing up, I always felt like an outlier in whatever room I was in and did whatever I could to downplay the ways in which I was different. It wasn’t until I was in college did I finally start to really appreciate my heritage. For me, API Heritage Month is about celebrating and appreciating all of our beautiful differences.” Jennifer Chhatlani, Senior Vice President, Communications “As a former ERG leader from a prior company, to me celebrating API Heritage Month helps society understand and appreciate the contributions the community has made in our diverse country. From a corporate perspective, the month’s celebrations bring cultural awareness to better understand your colleagues and externally how to advise your clients in a multicultural population. By learning cultural differences, we may approach a situation from a different perspective.” Rod Labuni, Director, Client Development “I am the first in my family to be a licensed attorney. My husband and I also climbed Mt. Fuji completely unequipped for hiking when we were on our honeymoon.” Ly Chhay Ng, Vice President & Assistant General Counsel
