In honor of #Pride, we’re recognizing LGBTQ+ Circana employees on our social channels this month! This week, we’re spotlighting Todd Mick (he/him), Jules E. Green, Kristen McLean, and Andi Germain-Rasher. Jules and Kristen told us what “Circana Pride” means to them, and Todd and Andi shared how they’ll be celebrating this month. “This year me and my Husband Howard are going to focus on activism first and then celebration. We are making it a priority to attend events that focus on supporting Trans Youth this June and throughout the year. We will attend Stonewall Pride in Wilton Manors, Florida, and Heritage of Pride in New York City, making sure to support the Drag and Trans communities and always make time for great music and dancing to celebrate with our LGBTQIA+ community.” - Todd Mick (he/him), Executive Director Apparel and Active Brands + Innerwear Industry Analyst “I like to say that since I have blue hair, and I’m openly trans, every month is pride month when I’m around, haha. Circana does offer a ton of programs during pride month that really makes me feel celebrated; there’s discussion panels, guest speakers, and occasionally out of the office events; all of which makes me feel proud to be part of the team.” - Andi Germain-Rasher, Delivery Manager “This year, Circana Pride means continuing to be a proud and hopeful advocate for the trans community in the face of lots of scary news … I think Pride is about continuing to find joy and inspiration in this community, to spend extra time supporting those who need it now more than ever, and to never miss a chance to speak up, to build empathy, and to raise awareness using all the tools I can.” - Kristen McLean (she/her), Executive Director, Primary Industry Analyst, Books and Entertainment “Circana Pride means being unapologetic about who I am. It means celebrating my queerness whilst also sharing my vulnerabilities and strengths. I strive to bring all of me to every occasion and every moment, both personally and professionally. It is only in the last few years that I resolutely decided to bring my authentic self into the light, and I am proud of myself for choosing myself.
