Doesn't matter if you do just the required or you put in a good effort to make a contribution for positive change, you get the nominal rise. Hope this trend will change.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?I am an intern, and therefor do not receive benefits. As an intern, I feel as though I am paid fairly, however, I wish I could have PTO and paid holidays. However, I do not feel as though my work is on the level of an intern--which is why I wish I was making more.
