De’ Longhi is one of the world’s leading players in the household appliance sector and is mainly active in the coffee and food preparation segments, which represent around 80% of the Group’s total revenues. The Group’s brand portfolio includes: · De’ Longhi, the historic brand born in 1974 and world leader in coffee machines for domestic use; · Kenwood, British brand acquired in 2001 and among the world leaders in the food preparation sector; · Braun, the German brand, under perpetual licence since 2012, in the kitchen and domestic appliance segments; · Nutribullet, American brand acquired in 2020 and world leader in the personal blenders segment; · Ariete, acquired together with Kenwood in 2001, it offers innovative solutions in the cooking, ironing and cleaning sectors. Listed on the Borsa Italiana’s main stock market, MTA, since 2001, De’ Longhi distributes its products in more than 120 markets worldwide and employs over 10,000 people. In 2021, the Group generated revenues of €3,222 million, an adjusted EBITDA of €515 million and a net profit of €311 million. Espresso coffee machines for domestic use are the core of the Group's strategy, since they account for about 50% of total turnover. This market is worth close to €4 billion, is continually expanding and the De' Longhi brand is a global leader in it. The Group’s activities are highly diversified geographically, with direct commercial presence in Europe, North America, Middle East, Africa and Asia/Pacific. From an industrial perspective, De’ Longhi can count on 6 production sites located in Italy (1), Romania (3) and China (2), plus a facility in a joint venture with the TCL Group in China. The company is led by Giuseppe de' Longhi (Chairman), Fabio de' Longhi (CEO and Vice-Chairman), and Nicola Serafin (General Manager).

    We are excited to announce the closing of the IT Talent Academy which was held at our IT Hub in Cluj-Napoca! 🎉 The academy had nine students participating in it who were from different cities and faculties in Romania. There they had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of SAP for three months. Throughout the Academy's duration, the students were guided by a dedicated teacher and supported by our expert SAP mentors, who helped them understand the business dynamics and what it means to build a career in the IT sector. With great pride, we handed the students their diplomas today, and in fact, six are slated to be hired at De'Longhi and will move to Italy for the official onboarding process in September. 🚀 We wish them all a bright future and look forward to seeing them grow within our team! #DeLonghiGroup #EveryDayMakers

    "The persistent growth of the coffee business, as well as the recovery of the nutrition and food preparation category, led to an organic increase in turnover at constant currencies in the high single digits for the third consecutive quarter.     We have just finished up an intense and engaging week bringing together over 120 new talented colleagues from 31 different countries who have joined the company in the last few months. During this time we were conducting and engaging in virtual activities on Padlet which allowed us to share ideas and get to know each other better. The real highlight this year though was our interactive virtual workshop on Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion where we discussed how each one of us can carry these values forward within the organization and our daily lives. Together, we also worked on building up the courage to show who we really are and to open up to the diversity surrounding us.     Ready, set, go! After months of preparation, meetings, advertising, selections, and testing, we have officially kicked off the first edition of the IT Talent Academy in Cluj, Romania. The 10 talented individuals we have selected will attend the Talent Academy technical program every day for three months. They will be accompanied by an external technical trainer and our Romanian and Italian colleagues Mariangela Di LucciaRoberto MazzocatoDenis Albertini with whom they will learn SAP-related technicalities and the HR team from Romania & Italy (Daniela Camelia OpreaFlorina CicortasMaria Giulia PaolucciMartina Frison) with whom they will learn to develop and manage their soft skills. At the end of the academy, the participants who have particularly stood out with outstanding work will be hired onto the De'Longhi IT HUB Cluj team.     #CoffeeTalks are back with a new episode! This time we discussed the ever-important topic of #sustainability with the CEO of World Coffee Research (WCR) Jennifer "Vern" Long, who guided us through the discovery of the non-profit agricultural research organization which the De'Group Longhi has decided to collaborate with and brings together over 170 different companies in 29 different countries to promote collaborative research and development operations on a global level in order to secure the future of coffee and simultaneously support farmers. We learned about the specific areas WCR operates in and how the organization serves all of the participants involved in the coffee supply chain—all the way from the farmers to the consumers.
