“Our name is our philosophy. ANTI stands for “A New Type of Interference” – and that’s exactly what brands need.” – ANTI “We started in 2008 as a punk band, a small agency that vowed never to consist of more than five people and never to do anything but design. That didn’t work out,” said the two founders, Kenneth Pedersen and Kjetil Wold Østmoen from the Norwegian agency ANTI. What worked very well, however, was to transfer this somewhat anarchistic spirit to the growing number of employees (now 75 in two offices): a strategic approach, of course. Goal-oriented communication on all analogue and digital channels – in every case. But always also breaking through boundaries, constantly questioning the status quo, taking unconventional approaches – all this still characterises ANTI’s work to this day. The agency has since been awarded with two distinctions in the Red Dot Award: 🎨 For the complex visual identity of The Research Council of Norway, a Dubins Path Generator was used to create icons for the various specialised disciplines from randomly connected points on a grid. The result was a generative system that produces dozens of variations with a uniform look. 🏙️ Based on the architectural characteristics of its namesake neighbourhood in Oslo, the “Marienlyst Display” font is the centrepiece of its new identity. It is particularly in digital applications, such as animations, that the font's playful strength becomes clear. Congratulations to the project team members of ANTI: Kristoffer Eidsnes, Veronika Artiuschenko, Markus Storsveen, Mats Ottdal, Francesca Miani, Aleksander Rønning, Vivian Ramfjord, Mads Hornsletten, Kim-André Solberg Monsen, Jennie Klemetsdal, Kristin Grimstad, Tom André Engli Storsveen, Håkon Stensholt, Hanne Dillan and Helene Grindheim. “Our paramount goal is to revolutionise the digital experience for billions of people all over the world.” - Alty Alty is an IT product outsourcing company which was founded in Ukraine in 2009. Its expertise lies in providing consulting services and designing and developing solutions for FinTech start-ups and international banks. With more than 13 years of experience, Alty has been involved in optimising hundreds of digital products for corporations around the world. However, the company views user perception as the primary measure of its success, which is why it is constantly striving to create top-quality products. Here are three award-winning projects: 📱 The “GTWorld” app – a platform designed to redefine banking services in Nigeria – was developed for GTBank, one of the country’s largest banks. The application boasts a sleek user interface, faster payments and advanced security features. ✈️ Laid-back travel was the initial inspiration for the development of the Halyk Travel app. The main idea was to unite all needed services in one place. Thus, the app offers a linear flow for purchases of plane and train tickets. It gives users the opportunity to select what they need and to go anywhere in the world. By using the budget calculator, it is possible to estimate costs in advance and avoid miscalculations. Moreover, apartments and cars can also be rented. A light and rounded design, with different kinds of cute loading animations that speak to the audience in a joyful tone, makes using the app a pleasant experience. 💳 Monobank is the first Ukrainian mobile-only bank. Since this financial institution has no branches, the service is provided solely through a mobile app which allows users to open a bank account and make full use of all offered products. The account-opening process has been simplified by dividing it into three easy steps. Potential customers only need a phone, and it takes just five minutes to become a client. The app offers a variety of banking services: from free money transfer and the paying of utility bills with no commission to loans and cashback. Customer support is provided through the most popular messenger services and by telephone. Congratulations to Taras Donchenko, Vlad Derkach and all project team members of Alty 🎉 Find out more about Alty here: https://lnkd.in/eRAn37gh #RedDotWinner #RedDotAward #CommunicationDesign

“People seem to appreciate the playfulness and visual richness the brand identity conveys.” – Thomas Kurppa Kurppa Hosk is a brand agency with offices in Stockholm and New York. It solves the complex problems of business clients by harnessing the powers of strategic thinking and design. The agency was founded in 2009 and was awarded four distinctions in the Red Dot Award. Their winning projects are: 🌬️ Vindmark specialises in the optimisation and circular repowering of existing wind farms, which requires an in-depth understanding of wind behaviour. A dynamic, timeless design inspired by the movement of the wind conveys the concept of sustainability and circularity in a visually appealing manner. 🍔 The Swedish burger chain Tugg Burgers wanted a fresher brand identity, free from stereotypes. To meet this requirement, the Kurppa Hosk Studio chose a playful communication approach in which typography and eye-catching character design play the leading roles. 🍔 With TUGG, Kurppa Hosk was able to be awarded a second time. For their rebranding, Kurppa Hosk created a visual world away from the traditional burger aesthetic, opting instead for the use of vibrant graphics to introduce the TUGG family. 🏭 The creation of the Alleima brand, formerly Sandvik, brings together 160 years of tradition with a modern design that reflects highly complex operations and precise engineering. The colour palette and authentic imagery capture both the past and the future, creating a forward-looking Scandinavian identity. Congratulations to Kurppa Hosk! “We are Identity Architects.” – Ippolito Fleitz Group – Identity Architects Founded by Peter Ippolito and Gunter Fleitz, the Ippolito Fleitz Group design studio has offices in Stuttgart, Berlin and Shanghai. In cooperation with its clients, the studio designs architecture, products and communication, implementing these designs with meticulous care. The team does not think in terms of disciplines, but instead focuses on solutions for making designs that are target-oriented parts of a unified whole but also entirely unique. The multidisciplinary project teams are made up of product and communication designers, as well as interior designers and architects. Founded in 2002, the agency has been awarded 23 times in the Red Dot Award. Some of these winning projects are: 🍫 The brand Ritter Sport stands for tradition and modernity, diversity and dynamism, authenticity and courage. The newly designed working environment invites employees to come together. Its spatial concept incorporates not only the colours of the chocolate packaging, but also the square shape. 🌸 The 2023 trade fair presentation of the furniture manufacturer Walter Knoll took place in a former flower warehouse. The structure was literally made to blossom again with a temporary staging, transforming it into a fanciful, artistic brand space. ♨️ Embedded in the hot springs of Bantang in Chaohu, the restaurant uses water as its leitmotif. Not only is this element reflected in the flowing forms of the design: the restaurant also uses water from the springs in its food preparation and serves it as drinking water. Congratulations to the project team members of the Ippolito Fleitz Group: Isabel Pohle, Jonathan Siegle, Sabine Braun, Arsen Aliverdiiev, Dominik Schäfer, Mario Rodriguez, Anna Theodossiadou, Kerry Plieninger, Timo Flott, Nadine Batz, Till Goldberg, Peter Ippolito, Victoria Scherbarth, Ruth Calimlim, Kenny Chou, halil doğan, Dora Anna Latkoczy, Frank Wang, Yu Yan and Dirk Zschunke. In one of their ways of doing so, they condense value into real brand experiences. Accenture has been awarded in several categories. Some of these award-winning projects are: 🎬 An intriguing mix of documentary and advertising film styles emotionally captures the brand essence of Jill Stuart. In this experimental and unpredictable film, model and actress Kiko Mizuhara represents her personal values of equality, individuality and diversity. 🏠 SK is a remarkable exemple of sustainable architecture. Located in Skelleftea, northern Sweden, this municipal culture house and hotel is one of the world's tallest timber buildings. 🎶 Pandemic, war, economic crises - 2022 has cost people a lot of strength. “We believe that people are most creative when they feel satisfied, understood and valued.” – 1zu33 Architectural Brand Identity As a studio for architectural brand communication, 1zu33 not only translates corporate values into spaces – it also creates places of encounter where brands can be experienced holistically. For the creative team around the founder Hendrik Müller, the focus is on a structured and targeted creative process: “For us, quality is the common thread that guides us from the concept idea to implementation.” Whether for retail spaces, showrooms, events or trade-fair stands, strong storytelling paired with a keen sense for (sustainable) materials, colours, shapes, lighting and the existing architecture all combine at 1zu33 to create experiential sensory spaces. The agency was founded in 2009 and has been awarded with 7 distinctions in the Red Dot Award. Here are some of the awarded projects: 🏠 During the Salone del Mobile Milano, Gaggenau presented itself in the imposing Villa Necchi: the architecture from the 1930s was combined with an abstract spatial installation to create an impressive composition. A sensory journey that corresponds to the values and characteristics of the brand. 🛋️ Wilkhahn, an old-established producer of office furniture in Germany, wanted to increase its appeal to architects and designers by showcasing its products effectively in a brochure. Therefore, the concept for a virtual workplace and context-oriented storytelling was created by means of a fictional Danish publisher located in Copenhagen’s district Nordhavn. Based on Human Centricity, the spatial and interior design is influenced by its surroundings in terms of content and aesthetics. 🍵 The launch of the new Melitta Group Single Portions “Avoury. The Tea” brand in 2019 also required an administrative area and a showroom connected to the production facilities. The aim of the concept was to connect these areas, to appeal to B2B visitors and to strengthen the employees’ identification with the brand. The building was given a clear architectural exterior with a facade that provides insights into the manufacturing process inside. Congratulations to the 1zu33 project team members: Hendrik Müller, Christian Sedlmaier, Michaela Zehnter, georg thiersch, Felix Stadie, Jana Thiemann, Eva Eberlein, Vianney Lebrun and Kirsten Döpper. It allows boat owners to access all relevant data about their boat in real time and as easily as possible. 🎼 Elektron Overbridge seamlessly integrates analogue synthesizers and drum machines with computers, treating hardware instruments as software for enhanced control and flexibility.
