I only see it occasionally now but whenever I do, I'm reminded that culture appropriation of AAVE was and is the dumbest, most pointless online discourse we made the mistake of taking seriously. Like all pointless discourse, you could never realistically implement something that might stop or mitigate the "problem" and like much of stupid discourse, it would have made for a worse world.
