i feel like im getting close to having a Depression Enlightenment Moment

been in such a bad mood for the past few days im seeing how everything is connected but like purely in a negative sense

that person being rude is kind of like this other person being rude

that person being clingy is kind of like this other person being clingy

my desire to yell at people is kind of like my paranoia

once i bring everything together ill discover a deep truth about human nature

probably just been reading too much Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei though

It's crazy how depression will make you convinced you've uncovered deep, fundamental truths about the universe, and then the "truths" are just "everything is bad".

they should invent a kind of 'kill yourself' that i feel morally comfortable with telling people

obviously incoherent stance because the thing that makes it desirable to say is also the thing that makes it bad but some things are beautiful because we cannot obtain them or whatever

the tragedy of there not being enough art of a character you like is well known ofc but sometimes its also that you see them in a particular freak way which is sadly unrepresented even among the art that does exist

sometimes it feels like all relationships require you to lie a little bit for them to run smoothly

like theres this principle that you dont have to say everything you're thinking if it would upset someone but the deeper you get the more that feels like dishonesty

and i mean its fine to paper over the cracks a little bit innit but the more you do it the more trapped you start feeling and oops im just projecting my feelings about dating again haha nevermind post cancelled

every time i see someone completely understand Death of the Author i curse Roland Barthes for giving his essay a punny name that makes people misunderstand the very basic concept behind the essay

are there any works of fiction you wish were longer or otherwise continued through sequels or spinoffs and are there any works of fiction where you feel the opposite way?
