How to exercise your consumer privacy rights

Explore your options for managing your personal information below and see how you can take action.

Opt-out or limit use of data

Choose to limit how TransUnion processes your personal information. Your data privacy opt-out choices include:

  • Opt out of the sale/sharing of my personal information
  • Opt out of cross-context behavioral advertising/targeted advertising
  • Opt out of automated decision-making/profiling
  • Limit the use of my sensitive personal information

When we provide personal information to third parties, we’re enabling them to offer relevant products for consumers like you. If you opt out, the companies we partner with may no longer offer you personalized experiences. We want you to have the opportunities that may benefit you. However, we fully support your right to opt out and have developed a process for you to exercise this right.

You can submit a request online, by phone or through a one-time form:

  • Log back in any time to check your request status
