This week is Neurodiversity Celebration Week 🎉 - a worldwide initiative that challenges stereotypes and misconceptions about neurological differences. We want to emphasise the importance of creating a neurodivergent-friendly working environment for all colleagues. Here's why this is crucial: 🧠1 in 5 people in the UK are neurodivergent. 🧠There are at least 700,000 autistic adults in the UK, only 15% are in employment. 🧠10% of people in UK are thought to have dyselxia. Did you know... People who are neurodivergent are often very creative, have better focus, are topic experts, have better visual acuity and are more interested in social issues. During this week of celebration, there is no better time to launch our brand-new internal colleague led network for Neurodiversity and Disability.
