For the first time, designers from the SHEIN X Designer Incubator Program have launched collections made from rescued fabrics as part of SHEIN’s partnership with Queen of Raw, a global circular economy technology company whose flagship software, Materia MX, specializes in solving supply chain’s excess inventory issues for the world’s largest companies. ✨ "We knew that SHEIN would be a perfect partner to help Queen of Raw scale a rescue initiative for the world's deadstock," said Founder and CEO of Queen of Raw, Stephanie Benedetto. "We're thrilled to be able to get these rescued and beautiful fabrics into the hands of some incredible designers from SHEIN's incubator program." ✨ To bring this collection to life, SHEIN worked with six talented SHEIN X designers, Christian Caldwell, De Johnea Thorpe, Rajvizithi singh, Ngozika Okeke,PhD(c), Mel Dorey, and Daniela Ricciardelli, who designed 30 stylish pieces created to delight SHEIN shoppers and pave the way for a more circular fashion future with a lower environmental impact. The SHEIN return process just got easier for customers in the continental U.S.! We’re thrilled to announce our partnership with Happy Returns, a UPS Company, to implement in-store returns across 300+ Forever 21 retail locations. The process is simple and hassle-free. A QR code is generated through SHEIN’s returns portal for the shopper to use, which is then scanned at Forever 21 followed by a quick verification by a store associate ensuring the correct item is returned. Plus, here’s an added perk: Shoppers will receive a same-day discount on their next Forever 21 purchase! Last week, SHEIN hosted its inaugural SHEIN Sessions virtual event. These 30-minute sessions aim to highlight important SHEIN initiatives and partners, featuring leaders and change-makers from diverse backgrounds. Coinciding with Women’s History Month, our U.S. employees had the chance to engage in discussions with our first guest speaker, Juanita Ingram, Esq. JD MBA, Founder and Board President of Dress for Success Chattanooga and Dress for Success Greater London and ambassador for Dress for Success Singapore. She discussed the newly announced partnership in the U.S. between Dress for Success and SHEIN, emphasizing Dress for Success' mission to empower women in achieving economic independence, career development, and overall well-being. We are so proud of 🎉 Kevon Albright 🎉 for being a finalist in the 2024 SHEIN X Global Challenge! Out of nearly 1,000 applicants from 70+ countries, Kevon was one of 10 designers chosen to attend the final challenge in London last week and the only U.S. based finalist! Kevon applied to the SHEIN X Global Challenge, where aspiring designers are invited to submit three Spring/Summer looks with a chance to win various prizes, after seeing the contest details on social media. All eligible submissions were showcased on the SHEIN X Challenge website, where the public voted for their favorite designs. The top 20 submissions advanced to the second round, where a panel of industry experts selected the 10 finalists. We can't wait to see her designs come to life on SHEIN later this year!
