Did you know that Asian Americans are the least likely to feel a strong sense of belonging in the U.S.? The 2024 STAATUS Index reveals that due to discrimination and lack of representation, only 38% of Asian Americans completely agree they belong, and even fewer feel fully accepted. The STAATUS Index survey conducted by The Asian American Foundation serves as the leading national study of American stereotypes and attitudes toward the Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islanders (AANHPI) community. Launched in 2021 in response to the rise of anti-Asian hate, TAAF works tirelessly to reverse the longstanding under-investment in the AANHPI community and address the root causes of hate and discrimination.    This month in celebration of Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month, SHEIN is thrilled to highlight the vibrant creatives and culture of the AANHPI communities. Through the newly announced SHEIN X Sriracha collection, we are featuring designs from seven independent artists who are part of the SHEIN X designer incubator program. 💍 Cue the wedding bells! We’re gearing up for an unforgettable Memorial Day Weekend with the SHEIN Love Chapel! This will be SHEIN’s first wedding-focused pop-up experience, where 30 lucky couples will get the chance to be "Vegas-hitched" (non-legally binding) by none other than "Love Is Blind" season one fan-favorites, Lauren Speed-Hamilton and Cameron Hamilton. These special ceremonies will be held in the heart of Las Vegas, with couples dressed in complimentary wedding attire sold on SHEIN. Lauren and Cameron shared their excitement: "We are so honored to be playing a special part in the SHEIN Love Chapel experience by officiating commitment ceremonies for eligible couples in a city that holds a special place in our hearts. Having renewed our vows in Las Vegas last year, we're thrilled to extend that same love and joy to other lucky couples, making their day just as memorable." Plus, SHEIN will be hosting a retail pop-up store where fans can shop a variety of wedding-inspired merchandise including bridesmaid dresses and bridal gowns in inclusive sizing. The shop, located at Fashion Show Mall on the Las Vegas Strip, will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. PST on Saturday, May 25, and from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. PST on Sunday, May 26. 🌟 Meet Tygerian Lace, Nayik Rodriguez, and Isha Kadijah 🌟 These talented fashion designers from the Washington, D.C. area sat down with us recently to share their background and how they got involved with the SHEIN X designer incubator program. Isha shared, "One day while taking a class in entrepreneurship, I decided I wanted to create my own business. I got involved with the SHEIN X program when I was at least 3 collections in. For the first time, designers from the SHEIN X Designer Incubator Program have launched collections made from rescued fabrics as part of SHEIN’s partnership with Queen of Raw, a global circular economy technology company whose flagship software, Materia MX, specializes in solving supply chain’s excess inventory issues for the world’s largest companies. ✨ "We knew that SHEIN would be a perfect partner to help Queen of Raw scale a rescue initiative for the world's deadstock," said Founder and CEO of Queen of Raw, Stephanie Benedetto. We're proud to spotlight two talented Tampa-based designers from the SHEIN X Designer Incubator Program, De Johnea Thorpe and Danielle Brion 💞 Catch them on a recent segment on WTSP-TV's Great Day LIVE Tampa Bay, where they each spoke about their journey to becoming a SHEIN X designer, their collaborative experience with the SHEIN team, and the inspiration behind their designs. "My style is for the lady that's confident and loves to be the center of attention," De Johnea shared.

The SHEIN return process just got easier for customers in the continental U.S.! We’re thrilled to announce our partnership with Happy Returns, a UPS Company, to implement in-store returns across 300+ Forever 21 retail locations.   The process is simple and hassle-free. A QR code is generated through SHEIN’s returns portal for the shopper to use, which is then scanned at Forever 21 followed by a quick verification by a store associate ensuring the correct item is returned. We were delighted to join Girls Inc. of Greater Indianapolis earlier this week with leaders from SHEIN sharing insights and advice from their own professional journeys to guide these young women in their future careers. ✨ "Girls Inc is inspiring future generations of women leaders, and it was energizing to spend the evening sharing our stories and empowering this community of girls right in SHEIN’s backyard of Indianapolis," shared SHEIN's Angela Tucciarone. ✨ The event supports Girls Inc. of Greater Indianapolis' mission to empower youth from ages 6-24 years old by offering impactful programs that are focused on education, healthy self, advocacy, and leadership development, and instill in them the confidence to become leaders in their communities. Last week, SHEIN hosted its inaugural SHEIN Sessions virtual event. These 30-minute sessions aim to highlight important SHEIN initiatives and partners, featuring leaders and change-makers from diverse backgrounds. Coinciding with Women’s History Month, our U.S. employees had the chance to engage in discussions with our first guest speaker, Juanita Ingram, Esq. JD MBA, Founder and Board President of Dress for Success Chattanooga and Dress for Success Greater London and ambassador for Dress for Success Singapore. She discussed the newly announced partnership in the U.S. between Dress for Success and SHEIN, emphasizing Dress for Success' mission to empower women in achieving economic independence, career development and overall well-being.
