Google Nest Speakers Are The Worst, DO NOT BUY!!!!!! Take a hammer to them

Google Speaker groups for voice activation fails. I have gone back and forth for MONTHS about the issue with tech support. Tech support is useless.

To sum up, I had a Google Mini, it worked. I bought a Google Pixel Tablet, last year, and added to speaker group. It worked, for a day. Then it stopped working as a group when going with voice activation. I could go to my phone, and have it cast to the speaker group, but that isn't what I wanted. I thought, maybe the Mini is older, and not working as well for groups. I bought two brand new Google Max speakers, the current newest ones last Summer, the big ones. These worked for voice activation to speaker group, for a week. Then they stopped working too. I bought a Google Nest Hub 2 last Fall, for a different reason, and the speaker group worked again via voice activation... for a week. The whole time, I could tell each individual speaker to connect. Their tech support INSISTED it must be the Nest Hub 2 that caused the issue. Even though it was the last device added, and had caused the speaker groups to work again. Finally, tech support just gave up. They gave me NO resolution, so sorry, so sad, sucks to be you, but we got your money. I made do with just telling individual speakers to play, or casting from phone if I really wanted everything to be playing, until today.

Now both of my Google Nest Max Speakers are not working. Both will not connect to WIFI, they just keep saying, "sorry, can't connect to WIFI right now." Both of them, and ONLY THEM. I've power cycled, and tried reconnecting them, and NOPE! Google used to be a great company. I have been a Google fan since getting on Gmail when it was invite only. I had the first Android Samsung phone they released in the US. I had Google Music in beta, when you had to upload your own music to the cloud, to have on other devices. That was replaced by the garbage YouTube Music service. I had Project Fi when it was first rolling out. Now it is Google Fi. I'm on my 4th Pixel phone now. I have been HEAVILY pro-Google for 20+ years. Google has gotten to be a garbage company. I am going to think long and hard about getting any future Google products.

It seems Google is purposely trying to make the wrong and worst decision for every product they have. They are going out of their way to be worse every year.

I tried factory reset on one of the speakers, no connection to either 5ghz or 2.4ghz. They go from Google Movies that was great, where you can organize your movies when you want to search for something, to YouTube movies, where it is only organized by most recent purchase order. You cannot organize at all, and on top of that, any behind the scenes footage included in a purchase, is included in the library to go through. Every time I want to scroll through my almost 400 movies I've purchased, I have to go through 50 Star Wars behind the scenes videos. Google support is useless. You get zero help from their support agents and their "upper level" support. They escalate to zero assistance.

Buy any other ecosystem besides Google. 20+ years of being a Google die hard, and this is painful to say, but Google sucks now. They're not even attempting to reply to me on here now, and support tickets are useless.
