Can I install google nest doorbell gen 2 with 18v transformer ac adapter

So i just bought the gen 2 nest doorbell not realizing that this house doesn’t have an installed chime and a transformer. so i decided buy a transformer plug-in adapter it powers up but it wont connect to my google home app since i dont have a chime i just want to it to notify me through google home. how do i connect it successfully?

also the ring lights are on and it’s blue but the middle dot light wouldn’t light up any colour
