Newer cameras no longer viewable on home.google.com when using Firefox

For the second day now, our two newer cameras, the battery camera and the 2nd gen indoor camera, which get installed in the Google Home app, are NOT viewable on home.google.com using the Firefox browser. Turning the cameras on and off does not help, nor does "Retry".  It says "Couldn't load video."  Until now, both cameras HAVE been viewable on home.google.com using Firefox since late Oct. 2023.

Both cameras ARE still viewable in the Google Home app. And all of our older cameras and doorbells, which are installed in the Google Nest app, ARE viewable on the home.google.com website.  And if we use Chrome,  both of the newer cameras are viewable.

I'm searching for a solution to this myself. I've narrowed it down the source of the issue specifically to Firefox version 114.0.1 that released on June 06, 2023. Previous build's of Firefox seem to work fine.

@AzFm

I'm on Firefox version 114.0.2.

Yes, I should've specified 114.0.1 and later. Did you update Firefox just recently?

im on 114.0.2 and it still has the issue. Chrome works fine. Its only happening with the newer Google cameras and not my older Nest ones.

I tried incognito mode for Firefox and tried messing with a bunch of settings but fixed nothing.  guess ill use chrome for the cameras for now.

This is still broken on Firefox 114.0.2.

I just checked again using Firefox 114.0.2, and the problem has been fixed. Our battery camera and our 2nd gen indoor camera can once again be viewed in Firefox on home.google.com.

Thank you!

the issue is fixed for me as well, still the same 114.0.2 version of Firefox

@Lance_L

It was corrected on Google Nest's end, NOT on Firefox's end.
