A peek into our office… We have a few meeting places, as well as a number of prints and original works of art.
In this particular corner, we have work by Seth Ganz and Deniz Ercelebi, two members of Tumblr Support!

We had a wonderful time hearing stories of her travels around the US while busking this summer, and she was kind enough to play a couple of songs for us!
Tumblr Support enjoyed a Star Wars- and race car-themed Tumblr Tuesday outing to G Force Karts, where we played laser tag, raced go karts, & enjoyed some craft beer!
Berny won both his go kart races AND the individual laser tag game, Matt won his rounds of go kart races, and Jim led the red team to victory when we played a teams round of laser tag. Afterward we relaxed with an awesome dinner at Kitchen 64. Fun was had by all!
Sneak peeks of Sarah and Zack, members of the Ministry of Design, working with Alex of Tumblr Support on an awesome new collaboration!
Tumblr Tuesday: Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom at the Byrd, followed by tacos and margaritas at Don’t Look Back. Coworker love.
Tess captured some awesome moments from the July Edition of Tumblr Tuesday!
The weather in Richmond has been hot. Thankfully, this week has cooled a bit and our comfort was increased by downing icy margaritas after enjoying an air conditioned theater all our own for Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. Even Dominic, who now works in the Tumblr NY office, joined in. I’m certain he visited VA just to come to our Tumblr Tuesday (sorry, NYers)! It was great to all hang out together, especially because we celebrated June’s Tumblr Tuesday in two separate groups.
Many thanks to the Byrd Theatre and Don’t Look Back for your hospitality! We had a wonderful time, thanks to you.
Have you seen something on Tumblr that violates our policies? Well, we’d love to hear about it—once. Tumblr’s Support and Trust & Safety teams are made up of actual people (Hi! I’m Nicole!) and we read every single message you send us, despite how small our teams are.
What happens after we read a message? We investigate it! Right away. So, when we get another message about the same issue, there’s not much more we can do about it. And when we get 10,000 more messages about that issue, well, there’s still not much more we can do about it, and we have to review all 10,000 of those messages before we can move on to other matters. If you ask your friends and followers to report the same thing that you just did, it makes it harder for us actual humans to address all of the issues that need addressing.
We need vigilant people like yourself to keep this site awesome, but trust that any problems you find can be solved with a single email. We swear it.
Excluding Tumblr’s CEO and founder david, every single one of Tumblr’s staff member are cats. Since the company’s inception in 2007, the number of cat employees have grown steadily over the years and today over 300 cats are working at Tumblr’s headquarter in New York City,
What?! How dare they spread such lies. Everybody knows we cat-employees are spread across several offices, not just Tumblr HQ. The rest of it’s true though.
What was a giant, curved and blank wall in the Tumblr Support Office is currently becoming a tribute to both the historic and modern landscape of Richmond, Virginia.
Final product soon…
Now that our spiffy new help form has made its debut, we wanted to give a heads-up that we’re no longer responding to emails to [email protected]. The form does a much better job of gathering all the important info we need to help you, which means we can respond to your requests more swiftly and articulately.
So, if you ever can’t find the answer you’re looking for while searching our help pages, just hit the “Contact Support” button at the bottom of the results. There, that’s the form.
Experiencing an issue? Check for Known Issues and file a Support Request if you have something new. We’ll get back to you as soon as we can!
