I think one of the Worst Things about wanting to find period clothing from other cultures, is trying to find fucking casual/work clothes. I just want to add to this: the amount of fucking "THIS AI CAN GENERATE PORN IMAGES!!" ads I've gotten on Tumblr is ridiculous actually. To say nothing of all the mobile game ads involving sexually assaulting a woman.

So it's not okay for us (especially trans women) to post even moderately sexual content. But they are as shit don't mind using it to get money themselves!

THIS IS A PROBLEM WITH U.S. LAW, NOT AD MONEY. IF YOU WANT TO FIX IT, YOU MUST GO ABOVE TUMBLR.

@ing staff a bunch will not overturn fosta/sesta. It will not magically remove the liability for user gen content from the host (tumblr doesn't host its ads in house). It will not suddenly give tumblr enough money to hire, train and support content mods instead of relying on cheap automods trained on bigoted datasets and malicious reports from transphobic users.

It will not even get the message in front of the eyes of actual tumblr staffers because it does not use the feedback forms tumblr provides for this exact purpose.

Want porn back? Want the freedom for trans people to exist as adults with adult sexualities in public?
