Give Ollie a water bath occasionally, just for him. Every few months or so. It won't help him be clean in general, he does that fine on his own, but when a cat gets into something they shouldn't clean off themselves (ex. paint, molasses, mud, oil) then he'll have the experience of safe water bath so he won't be terrified when you help him.
he already loves playing with bath water enough that he falls in by accident multiple times per bath so I imagine on-purpose bathing shouldn't be too much of a reach
