Want to work for one of the most creative places on Earth? 🌏 Discover your place at Airbnb by visiting our new careers website:
The procedure for checking dwellings, a stupid, illegal and dangerous obligation: - Stupid because when a dwelling has already been rented, it is necessarily already checked by the people who went there, so useless procedure. - Forcing guests to film and take photos at their tenants is illegal and not consistent with the privacy of tenants. - Requiring hosts to install an app and in addition require them to have a very recent smartphone is illegal as it is not specified in the terms and conditions. - Dangerous because the tenants of Airbnb will falsely believe that the housing is valid or compliant while it is very easy to film the neighbor’s housing and/ or film a housing that does not belong to us, if we rented by an agency for example. The mention of verification being an complicity of Airbnb for the scam.

No, I don’t want to work for you, I need you to support people when they are stuck in an unsafe place. The owners don’t bother to show the surroundings and you don’t bother helping the customer.

1moHello airbnb: Suggestion for pivot and entering new markets: business in a more scalable way Airbnb promotes "home swapping". In other words, people connected to the platform could use each other's homes as a form of payment and Airbnb could keep the booking fee. The exchange would involve the vehicles of the residence, if any, and would be an opportunity to experience each other's real lives. It would create a community around it and generate a new revenue stream for the airbnb platform. It would work like a "barter" but in a more selective way and with both parties connected to this interest. For example: I want to go to London and someone wants to visit São Paulo. I put my property and vehicle at their disposal and the person wants what they want (of course). Airbnb would then charge both parties a fee for the connection and this would bring a new source of income to the platform.
