Meet Ashley Jones, a senior administrative assistant at Sharecare. After joining Sharecare through a temporary 2-week role in 2015, Ashley has grown and built her career over the past nine years into a full-time and essential position. As we’ve watched Ashley advance, we’ve also had the privilege to watch her daughters grow too! Ashley and her husband, Andrew, reside in Powder Springs, Georgia, with their three daughters Mariah, Micaela, and Mya. Over five years ago, we partnered with Boston University School of Public Health to gain a deeper understanding of the most pressing health and well-being challenges across America at a hyperlocal level, thereby enhancing our ability to deliver the right interventions to the right people at the right time. Through the Sharecare Community Well-Being Index, our ongoing measurement of well-being across the U.S., we assess well-being and health risks across populations through the lens of both individual well-being factors and social determinants of health. This comprehensive coverage spans all U.S. states, every Census-designated metropolitan statistical area, and all counties nationwide, enabling us to lay the groundwork for interventions that address systemic and population-based inequities, among other challenges.   Our latest research, published in Scientific Reports, extends our analysis to the ZIP code level, which enhances our ability to tailor interventions by more precisely understanding local health disparities and mobility patterns. This not only maximizes the impact of our initiatives but also gives our partners across the healthcare ecosystem—from employers to payors to community organizations— the data and prescriptive solutions they need to meet each individual where they are.     On the Sharecare Blog, Dr. Michael Rickles, our vice president of research, shares insights from this latest analysis. Drawing from a dataset of nearly 5,000,000 individuals collected through our digital platform, the new statistical modeling framework analyzes how factors like age, income, and education affect well-being in each specific ZIP code, while also considering the influence of nearby areas.
