Keep List Collaborators

CaptainOthers

Other users are unable to add items to my Keep lists.

I have added my wife as a collaborator in the Keep app, I have added her as a member of my home group in the Home app and she has verified her voice. The Nest still says that she needs to verify her voice. The only time that she is asked to verify her voice is when adding to this list.

Hi @CaptainOthers,

There are a couple of things to troubleshoot why your wife is being prompted to verify her voice only when adding items to your Keep list:

  1. Check Google Keep Collaboration Permissions:

    • Make sure your wife's collaborator permissions are set to "Can edit" in the Keep app. Here's how to check:
      • Open the Keep app on your phone or tablet.
      • Tap on the list you want to share.
      • Tap the three dots in the top right corner and select "Show collaborators."
      • You should see your wife's email address listed there. If her permission level is not "Can edit," tap on her name and change it.
  2. Ensure Google Assistant List Integration:

    • Verify that both you and your wife have enabled Google Assistant to access Keep lists. Here's how:
      • Open the Google Assistant app on your phones.
      • Go to Settings > Assistant devices > [Your device name] > Lists & notes.
      • Make sure "Google Keep" is selected for both of you.
  3. Reauthorize Google Home Device:

    • Try asking your wife to forget the voice access on the Google Home device and then reauthorize it. This might refresh the connection between her voice and collaborator permissions.

If for some reason you still have the same issue don't hesitate to let us know

Regards,

Mario.
