Thermostat doesn’t have enough power for Wi-Fi message after 3 years of use. What to do?

After 3 years or so of use, almost 4 years, one of my many Google Nest Learning Thermostats is suddenly showing the message "Thermostat doesn’t have enough power for Wi-Fi".  My guess is that the lithium ion battery is no longer charging sufficiently.  If the battery is toast, do I need to replace the battery?  Or the thermostat?

Thank you.

Hello JFXFJR,

Thanks for reaching out to the community. I'm so happy to help you with your thermostat situation.

Let me inform you that this thermostat model has a non-replaceable battery. Unfortunately, the entire thermostat will need to be replaced.

Tell us if you need assistance; we are happy to help you.

Best regards,
