Currently, the plugin neither automatically retries nor warns the user when it runs into a network issue ? When a network issue happens, including temporary hiccups, the plugin will simply show "Responding..." indefinitely on each and every question asked from that point until restarting the whole IDE. Cancelling reply or deleting current conversation won't resolve the issue.

When using the /docs command, the reply will include the full function body. Can you consider just replying with the docstring and to skip the function itself. The function code is just a copy of what is in file, is irrelevant for the docstring and just adds noise to the answer.

With the new update (1.5.0.5148) I can't deploy to vercel if Copilot is enabled on Webstorm (2023.3.4) + Windows (11)
When I use the command "vercel" in terminal I get this error:
Error: EBUSY: resource busy or locked, read

That error is gone if I disable copilot or close webstorm.

I see that there's currently no support to set up a keyboard shortcut for "explain this" (as well as any other other function from the right-click context menu of the copilot) functions(s) in pycharm. any workaround/plans on implementing this soonishly?

I was unable to use GitHub Copilot in previous days. However, in the recent update it prompts me that I can't use the chat service due to I couldn't access to default.exp-tas.com. There are also some similar links pointed in the Troubleshooting.

After I added them into my VPN configuration, I can confirm that Copilot is starting to work on my machine again. Make sure you also have set VPN in the IDE, and set Copilot to use the IDE's VPN, if you have the same network trouble like mine.

whenever we close the ide or restart the laptop or after sleep mode we have to logout everytime to chat with copilot, need an fix for this struggling a lot

I'd like to be able to provide custom instructions.

For example, when executing "/tests" copilot keeps using Moq, NUnit while my codebase uses NSubstitute and XUnit. (Why?)
A configuration option that allows us to provide some custom instructions such as "Use Moq and Xunit. Add Arrange, Act, Assert comments. Use the same namespace as the source file, but with the '.Tests' suffix." would remove quite some repetitive work.

Fresh start, use Copilot the first chat works and I get a response. Leave it for 30 minutes, start another chat and the chat just hangs with no response. No steps completed successfully and Collecting context icons just spin.

With the newest version of github copilot on Intellij IDEA, co-pilot chat will stop outputting halfway through a message very often. It will start a response off normally, then at some point it will stop outputting, "gathering context" spins for a few seconds and then it stops. Here is an example where it was clearly going to continue responding, but stopped halfway through. Many of my recent chats have been like this.

Id like to be able to add references to entire folders or parts of the projects inline. E.g:
"Write docs for the classes in /Assets/Scripts"

autocomplete for the folders would be great here

Since updating to the latest plugin version on intellij macos, it's been nothing but issues. First it says it can't reach github so I have to disconnect and re-connect each time I open the IDE. Then I need to start a new chat for every question and sometimes it says Oops and stops mid-answer. Worth mentioning that I've been using copilot for 3 months now and newer versions seem to be worse than early ones. As much as I like it, I think this is my last month paying for it :(
