we actually had a serious discussion about whether or not Slimeriana is an actual ship (obviously decided it was given, well, the search page and all the fan art) and then debated how best to describe it because it's the characters not the cc's. lmao

i made the mistake of categorizing Bee Duo as a ship once and was (nicely!) corrected by the fandom that Bee Duo is a platonic friendship, not a romantic ship. there are so many different SMPs and so many CCs, so i try to be extra careful when it comes to mcyt ship tags!
