On Thursday, May 16, staff from the Copyright Office, including Register of Copyrights Shira Perlmutter, attended the California Lawyers Association’s “Copyright Office Comes to California” program in the San Francisco Bay Area. Register Perlmutter provided an opening keynote address and sat for a Q&A conversation.  Throughout the day, leaders from the Copyright Office shared updates about registration, IT modernization, and the Enterprise Copyright System (ECS); updates from the Office of the General Counsel, including on the Copyright Claims Board; and updates from the Office of Policy and International Affairs, including from the chief economist. #Copyright #CopyrightOffice #RegisterofCopyrights #CopyrightForAll #CopyrightClaimsBoard 

Yesterday, the Copyright Office joined our colleagues at the Library of Congress for a night of magic and myth at Live! at the Library: Fantasy Book Night.
