AAPI month has been one for the books! Our team members indulged in unique flavors of Asian cuisines with lunches from local Asian owned and operated restaurants and a Soju bar cart. And, for this month’s SayThat! Podcast, Donnie Upshaw sat down with Senior Manager of Supply Chain Management Jessie Zhan to share her journey as a first-generation Chinese immigrant and how she’s navigated her career while embracing her Asian heritage. Where Flavor Gets Its Wings
About us
Sure, we’re The Wing Experts, but it’s our flavor that defines us. You taste it in our 11 signature sauces, you see it through our bold TV commercials, and you feel it when you walk through our doors. It’s what we like to call a flavor experience, and since the opening of our first restaurant in 1994 in Garland, Texas, it’s been our mission to Serve the World Flavor. Fast forward 26 years and we’ve done just that. With more than 1,500 locations globally, we’ve established ourselves as one of the fastest growing restaurant brands in the industry. Our fresh wings and famous hand-cut fries satisfy your hunger in a way nothing else can, and we’d like to think our workplace is just as unique as our made-from-scratch ranch dressing. We’ve got the opportunity you’ve been craving whether you’re looking for something at our restaurant support center in Dallas, or in the field supporting our team members in-restaurant. For people who demand flavor in everything from their food to their career, Wingstop is the answer. We’re a brand that can’t be duplicated, with a momentum that can’t be slowed – let us show you what Team Wing is all about! Another year of Bringing the Flavor to Travis Kelce’s music festival Kelce Jam! Wingstop turned things up a notch this year, hitting the mainstage for the Chicken Wing Eating competition with Kansas City Chiefs player Trey Smith, kicking it backstage on the green carpet and in the green rooms with the stars of the night, and – in true Kansas City fashion – serving our signature Hickory Smoked BBQ flavor to 3,000+ fans! #BringTheFlavor 🔥

Wingstop reported our Q1 2024 results, showcasing the momentum behind our brand and continued strength of our strategies. We drove domestic same-store sales growth of 21.6% – driven almost entirely by transaction growth – with domestic AUVs exceeding $1.9M. 65 net new restaurants entered our system in the quarter, for a total of 2,279 locations worldwide. We delivered 36.8% growth in system-wide sales this quarter, resulting in our first $1 billion quarter. These category-of-one results would not have been possible without the extraordinary efforts by our global support center team members, restaurant team members, brand partners and supplier partners.

In observation of National Volunteer Month, our construction and design team members stepped away from the office to help strengthen the communities in which we serve. In partnership with Bonton Farms, team members did their part to help combat the growing issue of food deserts in the DFW area. 👨🌾 🙌 🔥 #WingstopTeam #ShareYourFlavor

Marking its 23rd year of publishing, Savoy Magazine proudly introduces the 2024 Most Influential Executives in Corporate America in its second largest edition, featuring Calvin Butler, Jr., President & CEO of Exelon.. This special issue showcases a dynamic group of CEOs, COOs, and top executives who exemplify exceptional leadership and influence in the corporate world. LP Green II, the Publisher of Savoy Magazine, expressed his enthusiasm: "As we celebrate our 23rd anniversary, it's an honor to spotlight such extraordinary individuals in our 2024 edition. These leaders are not just excelling in their fields; they're setting new benchmarks for excellence and inspiring future generations." Featured on the cover is Calvin Butler, the President and CEO of Exelon, the nation's largest energy transmission and delivery company. Butler's leadership extends beyond corporate success. He has been acknowledged for his significant contributions to community and industry, earning accolades like The Daily Record's "Power 100" list and being named one of Maryland's "Most Admired CEOs." Readers can also indulge in the latest in health, music, TV/film, and sports, as well as special sections on entrepreneurship and community impact. "We're delighted to bring our readers a rich and varied content that not only informs but also inspires.
