This month, Starbucks, Pan-Asian Partner Network and India Partner Network are celebrating Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, focused on the theme “The Power of Belonging and Sharing our Cultural Values". Meet Aman, a two-and-a-half-year partner and store manager who joined the India Partner Network earlier this year. “I’m really interested in Partner Networks and how we can make an impact and help our communities. The Indian culture is so rich, and I love to share my personal experiences with others. Every culture is so different and [Partner Networks bring partners together] to work with each other and learn something from every community. We are all human and if you have positive energy, you’re going to uplift the people around you. Since my first day as a partner, I felt like I belonged, and I always want to give that back to my partners and community.” At Starbucks, we are at our best when we care for one another, celebrate our diverse life experiences and create welcoming environments where everyone belongs. #ToBeOurPartner

There is no one-size-fits-all experience for earning your college degree. Pathway to Admission is a program for eligible Starbucks employees who may not initially qualify for admission into Arizona State University (ASU) through the Starbucks College Achievement Plan (SCAP). It's designed to create a personalized plan to earn admission at your own pace with credit conversion costs fully covered. "Starbucks could not make it easier. This program allowed me to take up to ten college-level courses that I could take at my own pace and the credits would transfer over to ASU. My biggest regret was not starting sooner due to the ease of the program, working with all the support and the tools available to make you succeed. If I can do it, then anyone can." - Jim P., barista, North Carolina Learn more about the program and the Starbucks College Achievement Plan at: https://lnkd.in/gq3V-gJC

This month, Starbucks, the Pan-Asian Partner Network and the India Partner Network are celebrating Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, focused on the theme “The Power of Belonging and Sharing our Cultural Values". Meet Julianne, a 17-year partner, store manager and communications lead for the Pan-Asian Partner Network. “When I think about [this year's theme] I think about the impact we all have in creating a sense of belonging for those we come across. There's always an opportunity to be the change we want to see, and it starts with how we bring others along. In the spirit of Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Heritage Month, sharing our cultural values is one of the ways we can allow others in. I am a First-generation Filipina American and there are times where I feel disconnected from my Filipino culture and roots. I immigrated to the U.S at an early age and assimilated to the American culture quickly. During AANHPI or Filipino Heritage Month [in October], listening to many other's experiences and stories becomes a window to some of the things I may have missed out on. I love being part of these celebrations! I am incredibly proud of being a part of the AANHPI community and being able to share a piece of my experiences and stories help keep that connection alive." At Starbucks, we are at our best when we care for one another, celebrate our diverse life experiences and create welcoming environments where everyone belongs. #ToBeOurPartner
