48% of children in the U.K. feel pressure to be happy all the time, even if they don’t want to be. For Mental Health Awareness Week, Leo Burnett UK and Ready10 Ltd, removed the iconic smile from McDonald's Happy Meal boxes for the first time ever to encourage open dialogue between families about children’s mental well-being. Over 2.5 million special edition Happy Meal boxes were printed and are now available in restaurants nationwide.
