It's a great way to share interesting material, but how can you do it effectively? 🤔 These 5️⃣ tips will help to boost your content marketing strategy. ✅ Create a content strategy plan Set goals and expectations before you get started so that you know what you are working towards. And create your content and schedule it out so that you’re not scrambling last minute. ✅ Repurpose previously created content You have a lot on your plate, so why not make the most of the content that you already have? If you created a strong blog, then take that topic and do a webinar on it! After the webinar, take the recording and make video snippets that you can share on social. There is so much that you can do with one piece of content, so try and repurpose what you have. ✅ Be timely and keep your content fresh While evergreen content is great, make sure you’re keeping up with timely events. It also positions you as a thought-leader and showcases your expertise, as your audience will know to keep coming back to your website or social pages if you share useful and relevant content. ✅ Personalize your content According to McKinsey & Company, 71% of consumers expect a personalized experience. This means you need to find a way to personalize the experience for your clients, prospects and followers. This can be done by focusing your content on certain aspects of the market that pertain to your client base. ✅ Automate your content marketing As a busy advisor, it’s easy to forget to share your content. Inflation 2. Current political environment 3. Possible economic recession I know many financial advisors try to stay far away from sharing anything at ALL political. But yet it's best practice to be the voice of reason talking with clients about their top concerns. 🤓 Chart from Edelman Financial Engines latest "Wealth in America" Report. there are SO many good data points in this years issue - everything from the most contentious topics that come up with helping families with estate planning (and how to deal with it) to what content/topics clients most want to hear from advisors about. I highly recommend checking it out. If you struggle with finding the right balance of how to talk with clients about timely topics like these - then FMG 's "Do It For Me" marketing program is worth checking out.
