What words and phrases might they use? Most advisors appear in local searches—when people ask for things like “the best financial advisor near me.” That means it’s critical to make your location clear throughout your website. 📊 Set up analytics Aside from your Google Business page, set up Google Analytics and Google Search Console to better understand how your website ranks. What's even better about these analytic tools are that they are FREE. 🔑 Select the right keywords When people look for financial advisors, they’re usually looking for someone who understands their specific needs. That means your content should include keywords and topics so you can showcase your expertise and attract your ideal clientele. ✍️ Create content that has an impact Create content that attracts your ideal clients, so write about topics that they would be interested in or that speak to their pain points. In addition to the correct keywords mentioned above, think about the types of content format that is being used and look for areas of opportunity. What topics do people want to learn more about? Susan Theder shared 7 quick and easy tactics with Financial Advisor Magazine that can make a big difference in your overall strategy. ✔️ Add a "Schedule Meeting" button to your LinkedIn profile Your social profile is often times an introduction to your firm's brand, so add a schedule meeting button can make it much easier for you to generate leads. ✔️ Add a calendar link to your website By adding a calendar link, site visitors can schedule and set meetings at a time that’s convenient for them which makes it much easier to turn prospects into clients. ✔️ Showcase your value Highlight your expertise to stand out from the competition. And one way to do this is by performing the 5-second test to ensure your visitors understand if they will benefit from your services, how your firm is different from others and what the next step is. ✔️ Claim your Google Business profile Make yourself more visible online and one way to do this is by claiming your Google Business profile. This is a place where you can put important information about your company so that people can find you in a quick Google search. ✔️ Share case studies Many people have never worked with a financial advisor before, so if you can demonstrate the ways you help people, visitors will know if you're the right fit. And a great way to do this is to include case studies on your site, and this is a great way to show leads how you can help them. ✔️ Spend time on the right social channels Social media is a great way to connect, but not every platform is the right one for you. The most important question you should ask is: Where is your target audience spending time and capitalize on that. ✔️ Use Canva to level up your marketing Using unique, branded imagery is a great way to boost your marketing, and Canva is a great tool for doing this.     For the first time since 2020, the number of Americans with an estate plan has DECLINED. Today, just 32% of Americans have an estate plan, down from 38% a year ago Why? The Top reasons for NOT having an estate plan: 🔸 Procrastination (43%) 🔸 Believing they didn’t have enough assets (40%) ^ And this misconception of "not having enough assets" has RISEN from 33% in 2022 to 35% in 2023. At the same time, estate planning is highly desired by families of all income levels.
