During the month of May, Discord celebrated Asian American, Native Hawaiian, & Pacific Islander Heritage Month! This month, our Asian Friends and Kinship (AFK!) ERG hosted an amazing array of intentional opportunities, events, and activities to celebrate connection, mental well-being, and collaboration. Including: - Mental Wellness Sessions on effective techniques to prevent and recover from burnout - Virtual Book Talks - A Night Market at Discord HQ! Check out some of the amazing shots from the Night Market! It was an amazing night that featured great food and drink samples from local AANHPI businesses. The Discord office was adorned with decorations and artifacts showcasing rich AANHPI culture. We’re proud to celebrate AANHPI history year-round. Forging friendships can have a remarkable effect on mental health. Whether in person or online, geniune connection can create a positive, meaningful experience. We built Discord with this in mind. We give people the tools to easily create spaces that can help them make these connections. It can be as simple as a server for a few friends to hang out while they’re doing homework after school, or as wide-ranging as a server dedicated to a favorite video game or sports team that anyone can join. So when we design safety features, such as Teen Safety Alert, we do so in a way that aims to empowers teens to navigate the digital world confidently. Generative AI is a rapidly evolving technology that has the potential to dramatically alter how we solve real-world problems. What’s new for our App Pitches this year?
