This week marks Men's Health Week, focused on providing men access to the information, services and treatment they need to live healthier, longer and more fulfilling lives. This year's theme explores the internet and the implications it has on men's health 🌐💻 Did you know, 𝟳𝟲% 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝘂𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗯𝘆 𝗺𝗲𝗻. Suicide is also the biggest cause of death for 𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝟯𝟱. The internet has a strong hand in this... Smartphones are developed to be dopamine-delivery devices, with every app designed to keep you using them. The potential for addiction is obvious, costing us time and attention we could have devoted to more meaningful things. But what about when it starts affecting work, relationships and even money? We urge you to try the 𝘾𝘼𝙉 𝘿𝙊 challenge - 5 ways to well-being that are scientifically proven to make us feel better. Whether you complete one a day or do all five in one, give it a try and boost your mental health this week 👇 ▪️ 𝘾onnect - connect with other people (eg. call an old friend or family member) ▪️ (Be) 𝘼ctive - move your body (eg. go for a run/walk/swim/dance/etc) ▪️ 𝙉otice - take notice of the environment around you (eg. turn off your phone for an hour and look around) ▪️ 𝘿iscover - learn something new (eg. read a book you haven't read before) ▪️ 𝙊ffer (or give) - do something for someone else (eg. volunteer for a local community group) #menshealthweek #mentalhealth #internet

How mind-FULL are you? This week as the World supports mental health we will be inundated with posts, statistics, and responses to an ever-increasing need... for awareness. Beyond the stigma Shame even for some To the experiences we could all gain insight from. Unfortunately, whether its CBD or alternative therapies what we can share is restricted. Not only due to outdated stereotypes but limitations and algorithms. However, there's nothing stopping us from shifting this on an individual basis. Be it in our work, relationships, purchases or groups we are part of! Everyone has a story. There is always someone that can benefit from what you, we, have to say. It is this right to communicate. and have an impact on the World we create. That will truly increase what is really needed. Beyond the posts, treatments, and medicines individual for us all to the conversations behind them. The knowledge of change. What works What didn’t What perhaps now could. As we remain open to the awareness of ourselves. We surveyed 42,000+ respondents across 26 countries, asking questions about their health – mental, physical, spiritual, and social. One consistent finding emerged: people said social media usage can lead to a fear of missing out (FOMO) or poor body image – but it also helps with social connections and self-expression.
