As part of Pride Month at PHD UK, we hosted an engaging and insightful fireside chat with the fantastic trans actress, author and activist, Charlie Craggs, PHD UK Planning Manager, Reece-James Hope and our CEO, Ali Reed. Described by British Vogue as "the voice of a community", Charlie is an award-winning trans icon who founded Nail Transphobia - a campaign to provide free manicures to people, allowing them to chat with a trans person about their experiences to reduce transphobia. She published her first book in 2017, a collection of letters by successful trans women, "To My Trans Sisters", she is the lead actor in the Doctor Who spin-off series "Redacted" as Cleo Proctor alongside Jodie Whittaker's 13th doctor, and presented BBC3's "Transitioning Teens" a documentary that follows her across the country meeting trans people educating viewers and discussing what it is like being transgender in the UK. Sainsbury’s Expands a Three Decade Agency Relationship, Consolidating All Media Planning and Buying with PHD. Following a UK media planning and buying review, Sainsbury’s has appointed PHD to its integrated media planning and buying remit for the next three years. PHD UK has been a media agency partner of Sainsbury’s for the past 28 years and it will now expand remit to oversee all media planning and buying operations on behalf of Sainsbury’s.
