Delivering Borussia Dortmund Champions League Final celebration! Our incredible team turned the city yellow and black last weekend to celebrate Borussia Dortmund reaching the UEFA Champions League Final at Wembley. As the players paraded through the city, we painted the team colours across the town on LED vans, bikes, London taxis, and London buses. But the festivities didn't stop there. We also organised a premium lunch for the BVB sponsors, produced an interactive stand in the Hyde Park Fanzone, and even hosted the official BVB After Party at the Outernet for over 1,250 players, fans, and VIP guests. Auf dem Rasen wurde das Spiel knapp verloren, die Erinnerungen an ein unbeschreibliches Wochenende bleiben für immer. ♾️ London 2024, Wembley, Finale der UEFA Champions League, Borussia Dortmund gegen Real Madrid. Im Anschluss an den Sieg in Paris und dem folgenden Finaleinzug konnten viele nicht so richtig fassen, was der BVB gerade erreicht hatte. Nach intensiven Vorbereitungen in den vergangenen Tagen war es am Wochenende dann an der Zeit: Über 50.000 schwarzgelbe Fans pilgerten nach Großbritannien und färbten London Schwarzgelb. Das größte Spiel im europäischen Vereinsfußball wartete auf den BVB. 😍 🌎 Zusätzlich fieberten Millionen Anhänger weltweit auf hunderten Watch Parties mit. Und natürlich sah man auch in unserer Heimat Dortmund, welch außergewöhnlicher Tag für die gesamte Stadt anstand. Bars und Kneipen waren bis unters Dach gefüllt, die Westfalenhalle, der Hansaplatz und der Fredenbaumplatz in schwarzgelb gefärbt. Unsere Yellow Wonder Wall – in London, Dortmund und auf der ganzen Welt. 🟨 ✨ Schwarzgelbe Busse, die die feiernden Fans auf ihren Touren durch die Stadt fuhren, King’s Guards im BVB-Look, LED-Trucks sowie BVB-Taxis auf den Straßen, bekannte Legenden und ein großes Fanfest im Hyde Park. Nur einige von zahlreichen schwarzgelben Aktionen im Vereinigten Königreich. Fans reisten per Flugzeug, Bahn, Bus, Auto, Fahrrad oder Segelboot an. Die Energie, die durch London schwappte, sollte sich auch auf Borussias Spieler im Wembley übertragen. 💥 „Sie sind unser zwölfter Mann“, sagte Mittelfeldspieler Julian Brandt am Tag vor dem Spiel über die Fans. Auch das war am Samstagabend deutlich zu sehen. Zusammen mit seinen Anhängern zeigte der BVB eine tolle Leistung gegen die Königlichen, musste sich nach 90 Minuten voller Leidenschaft aber unglücklich geschlagen geben. Trotz der am Ende auf der Anzeigetafel stehenden Niederlage hat Borussia Dortmund in diesen Tagen einiges gewonnen. Auch wenn es sportlich „nur“ die Silbermedaille geworden ist: Dieses Wochenende hat einmal mehr gezeigt, was diesen einzigartigen Verein ausmacht und wird sicherlich einen Platz in den schwarzgelben Geschichtsbüchern einnehmen. 🖤💛 #UCLFinal

Cultures came together to create something that’s never been done before… …and couldn’t be done alone. That was my experience on the ground at Visa Live at le Louvre, where Post Malone, Ayra Starr, Kungs, and RaiNao, performed the first concert of its kind at the Cour Carrée in the heart of Musée du Louvre. The event was the first of its kind in many ways and propelled the realms of art, music, and culture forward with inclusivity as its foundation. That’s because millions of fans around the world were able to experience the concert live on Roblox, as well as discover some of the museum’s most famous works of art (which you can still do if you follow the link in the comments). It was an experience that connected our virtual and physical worlds in new and innovative ways — and it was a really exciting experience to be a part of. This was a huge team effort across Visa. I could not be prouder of everyone’s hard work. From the boots on the ground who brought the show to life for thousands of fans in the physical world to the technological genius behind the teams at Roblox who brought it to life virtually. What a great experience! It was a real privilege to share the "Ford Pro – Productivity Electrified" event with our guests for the past two weeks in Frankfurt. The heart of our story is that good things happen when you combine connected, electrified commercial vehicles with intelligent software and smart charging solutions – especially when that vehicle is the impressive new E-Transit Custom. Big fleets have started to realize the benefits of electrification, and now it’s the turn for small/medium businesses. Our story came to life thanks to some amazing customers from the Frankfurt area. Many thanks to them, and of course to our super-professional events team for delivering a memorable experience! 🙂 A couple of reflections from our event: Running a test fleet is much easier with connected vehicles! Several times a day, our Ford Pro mobile app would help us solve a problem, from tracking down a van with a puncture, to seeing which vehicles are on charge.
