“Parking Lot Pimpin| On the Wrongful Conviction of Julius Jones
This Friday we get into the wrongful conviction of Julius Jones, a Black man who has been on death row in Oklahoma for 19 years for a 1999 murder that he’s always denied taking part in.
Julius will be wrongfully be put to death in SIX DAYS if we don’t take action now. 🚨
Reach out to the Governor’s office at 405-521-2342 and urge Governor Stitt to stand by the recommendation of the Pardon and Parole Board and grant Julius Jones clemency. Time is of the essence.
What you can say or speak from the heart: I would like to urge Governor Stitt to stand by his own word to follow the recommendation of the Pardon and Parole Board and grant Julis Jones clemency. Please save Julius from wrongful execution.
- Let’s also discuss how the judge is literally messing over the Kyle Ritttendon trial. His overly chatty disposition can lead directly to an appeal if Kyle is in fact found Guilty.” - @lyneezy

“We strengthen the LGBTQ community and Movement by making smart, values-driven investments in dynamic organizations, projects, and leaders. And as a public foundation, we do so in close partnership with donors and the very people working on the front lines of progress. We fund hundreds of nonprofits, in more than 30 issue areas that advance queer liberation and racial, social, and economic justice. We also house six unique scholarship programs, including the largest in the country created to support LGBTQ refugees and asylum seekers.
Our grantmaking is complemented by intensive capacity building and training programs that equip local leaders with the tools they need to be effective change agents. These include free consulting, coaching opportunities, and monthly workshops. In all we do—from seed funding to planned giving—our priority is making sure community dollars make a difference.”

The Trevor Project is the world’s largest suicide prevention and crisis intervention organization for LGBTQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning) young people.
The death toll continues to climb from a mass shooting at an elementary school in Uvalde, Texas. Last year, over 1500 children and teenagers were killed by guns in the US. Enough is enough. Gun control legislation is needed to end senseless gun violence in America.
