Description
[edit]Urania Berlin e.V. is a NGO hosting all kind of cultural events in a great modern building. It is entirely wheelchair-accessible.

For the WikidataCon, we will have access to the following rooms:

Arnheim-Foyer / Main hallway | Ground floor (EG) | Hallway | 300 | The entrance hall. Will be used for registration, helpdesk, wardrobe, but also coffee and food breaks. It will contain high tables for lunch and dinner (standing, no seating). It has a low ceiling but huge glasses to get light from the outside. Some of the posters will be displayed on the walls. |
Cafeteria | 1st floor | Hallway with tables | 80 | Together with the main hallway, this is the place where lunch and dinner will take place. Here you can sit at table to enjoy your food. Outside of meals, we can also use the room for work or meetups. |
Kleist | 1st floor | Auditorium | 250 | The main conference room with a stage and auditorium-style seats. This is where the most important sessions will take place. Wheelchair-accessible. As many auditorium rooms, power plugs are rare... we advise you to charge your device before entering the room, and we will try to provide power plugs across the room.

Einstein | 1st floor | Session room | 50 | One of the two session rooms. 50 people can be seated on chairs. It includes a video projector and microphone.

Kepler | 1st floor | Session room | 50 | One of the two session rooms. 50 people can be seated on chairs. It includes a video projector and microphone.

Darwin | 2nd floor | Workshop room | 15 | This is the workshop room. 15 to 20 people can seat at a U-shaped table. It includes a videoprojector, a whiteboard and sticky notes. There will be a lot of power plugs. |
Edison | 2nd floor | Big hacking room | 60 | This room will be the main hacking space of the conference. It will include 10 tables where 5-6 people can seat, work or talk to each other. This is also the space where self-organized sessions can happen. There will be a lot of power plugs. Drinks and fruits will be available there. |
Austen | 2nd floor | Meetup room | 20 | This room will be mostly used for meetups. It will contain a few tables and 20-30 chairs. |
Newton | 2nd floor | Cosy/chat room | 20 | This room will be mostly used for self-organized sessions and informal discussions. It will contain sofas, bean bags, and some extra chairs if necessary. |
Hallway 2nd floor | 2nd floor | Hallway | 100 | The second floor of the building includes a big corridor as well as a hallway. Some of the posters will be displayed on the walls. There will be tables, drinks. This is a nice area to have a chat with other participants, or just to relax between two sessions. |
Curie | 3rd floor | Quiet room | 10 | The quiet room is reserved for people who want to take a bit of time to relax, take a nap or make a break from all the sensory stimulation from the conference. In a very quiet area on a dedicated floor, it will contain chairs, bean bags and sofas. We will provide earplugs and other services. |
Pasteur | 3rd floor | Activity room | 20 | Will be used only for the guided meditation session on Saturday morning. |

[edit]The welcome meetup on Thursday evening will take place at Wikimedia Deutschland's office.

Enter through the main door after ringing the bell at "Wikimedia". Cross the hall, then take the stairway or the elevator on the left. You can access the 3rd floor (WMDE scholars only, from 18:00 to 19:00) or the 1st floor (from 19:00).
