A lot of Ukrainians (me included) feel like we're talking into the void. We share news about war and current genocide, talk about our history and culture, about all the opression we lived through because of russia, russian colonialism, etc. Every single question you could possibly have about Ukraine is probably answered by multiple Ukrainians on social media already. But it seems like all of this is being shared only between Ukrainians and those foreigners who already know all those things, the people who need to learn about it won't see it. Something educational about Ukraine goes viral, you check reposts - Ukrainians and people who already engage with Ukrainian activism, no regular people who know nothing about Ukraine or "war is being shoved down our throat" crowd or whataboutists.

I get exactly what you mean. That's how Iranians here feel too.

We're still fighting against the islamic "repooplic". Everyday there's news of more activists being arrested or killed, more torture, more women being assaulted by regime thugs and we keep sharing it but feels like the general public doesn't react. Looks like you gotta be "trending" to get any attention or else you just have to "wait your turn". What they don't realize is that we can't wait! More and more of our people are being killed by IR and ruzzia! We can't just sit and watch!

It sucks but the least we can do is keep raising our voices. One day we'll free our countries from these genociders 🇺🇦 💚🤍❤

The parts of the south that are covered in kudzu look so crazy, one of the all time landscapes. Shame about it destroying the local ecology. But like look at this

Honestly the South is kinda lucky that Kudzu looks so stark & foreign, it makes people realize it's ecological disaster. Here in California, invasive grasses have become so iconic that they're part of the self-image of the state, everyone loves the golden hills of California

But the extinction of native Californian grasslands has had horrific knock on effects, such as weakening the kelp forests offshore & turbocharging the local fire ecology
