Accidentally did an experiment in our yard of where wildflowers grow the best. The full sun are doing the best, they have grown over a foot tall and most of them have started blooming. The ones in partial sun are mostly around 6” and are only partially blooming but mostly not. The ones in full shade are mostly around 6” and aren’t blooming at all. I’m pretty sure I sprinkled them all within two weeks of each other but I can’t remember.

It’s also interesting that the ones in the shade were initially growing the best but are now doing the worst. They were the first to start growing and were taller than the other patches. The one with partial sun was the first one to start blooming but still hasn’t caught up to the full sun spot. Fascinating that the first to start is the last to bloom.

The full sun patch is also full of pollinators right now and it’s so thrilling seeing them all bounce around from flower to flower.
