One of my greater intellectual failings is that I just cannot stand listening to like, 90% of interviews.

I am shamefully shallow about the aesthetics of peoples speech, and subject matter expertise and stage charisma are just not naturally related skillsets

#gosh yeah. for me this also includes non-interview dialogue between people i can't see#my brain just rejects recordings of unscripted talking#on the other hand I guess this has freed up countless hours of my life that would otherwise be taken by documentaries and podcasts#.txt

watching bridgerton and obviously there were a lot of things wrong with the way socializing has worked in the past, but honestly the idea of a "calling hour" is so appealing. office hours for friendship. you can show up unannounced at my home between 1 and 3pm. you must leave by 3pm. I may give you a pastry. lets bring that back
