The DevSecOps Manager leads a DevSecOps engineering function that focuses on the security of platforms and products through the design, build and operational lifecycle.

You will collaborate with various teams including software development, operations, and quality assurance to streamline workflows, automate processes, and optimize the delivery pipeline.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership:

Lead, mentor, and motivate the DevOps team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Set clear goals and objectives for the team and individual team members, and provide regular feedback and performance evaluations.

DevOps Strategy and Planning:

Develop and implement a comprehensive DevOps strategy aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, and infrastructure optimization.
Define metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of DevOps initiatives and track progress over time.

Infrastructure and Tooling:

Oversee the design, implementation, and management of the infrastructure and tooling necessary to support continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Evaluate, select, and integrate DevOps tools and technologies that improve efficiency, scalability, and reliability.
Ensure the security, scalability, and performance of infrastructure and environments, including cloud-based and on-premises systems.

Automation and Orchestration:

Champion automation initiatives to streamline repetitive tasks, accelerate deployments, and minimize human error.
Implement and maintain configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef) to manage infrastructure as code (IaC) and enforce desired state configuration.

Continuous Integration and Delivery:

Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines to facilitate rapid and reliable software releases.
Implement best practices for version control, build automation, test automation, and deployment automation.

Monitoring and Incident Response:

Establish proactive monitoring and alerting systems to detect and respond to infrastructure and application issues in real-time.
Develop incident response processes and procedures, and lead post-incident reviews to identify root causes and prevent recurrence.

Collaboration and Communication:

Foster strong collaboration and communication between development, operations, and other cross-functional teams.
Serve as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating business requirements into technical solutions.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience in a DevOps or related role, with a strong background in software development, system administration, or infrastructure engineering.
Working experience in Cloud computing platforms( AWS services - EC2 ,S3, VPC, EKS, Cloudwatch, Cloud Formation, Lambda, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby.
Experience in DevOps methodologies, building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (leveraging tools such as Github Action or Gitlab or CircleCI orJenkins)
Experience in infrastructure as Code (IaC) leveraging tools such as Terraform or CDK.
Experience in setting up Monitoring systems and alerting using tools such as Cloudwatch, Splunk, Datadog
Experience in building and implementing best practices in Security for CI/CD pipelines across platforms.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.

Additional Requirements:

Experience with Agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) is desirable.
Certifications such as Certified AWS Certified DevOps Engineer are a plus.
Prior experience in SaaS release management and managing distributed teams or remote teams is advantageous.
