  • The Microsoft adaptive accessories are a fully customizable experience. The Microsoft Adaptive Mouse can be customized by attaching a Microsoft Adaptive Mouse Tail and Thumb Support for a traditional mouse experience. The thumb support accessory goes where you want it to, easily switching sides for left or right handedness. The mouse can be further customized by attaching 3D printed mouse tails available through our partner Shapeways. The top of the buttons can also be replaced, so you can customize your experience with different adaptive buttons by choosing between a Microsoft d-pad button, joystick button, or dual button. You can also personalize more button toppers through 3D printing from Shapeways1 optimized for your specific needs.

    Beyond the physical customization, the eight digital inputs on the button and the five 3.5mm ports can be fully customized. For example, you can Improve your productivity by activating a sequence macro, such as select → highlight → copy → paste with the push of a single button.
  • The Microsoft Adaptive Mouse can be customized with different mouse tails. The mouse has an eject button that removes the back of the mouse allowing you to easily attach the Microsoft Adaptive Mouse Tail and Thumb Support, or 3D printed mouse tails available through Shapeways.1 On the Microsoft Adaptive Buttons, you can replace the top of the button with different toppers with 3D printing buttons toppers designs through Shapeways.1 To swap out the topper, you just need to gently twist and remove the topper.
