Modernizing Medicine Women in Innovation & Technology

The mission of MMwit™ is to create a community that supports the advancement of women by providing opportunities to grow personally and professionally through leadership, learning, networking and company recognition. Our objectives include: 1. Identify and advance women in positions of leadership into roles where women are traditionally underrepresented. 2. Create opportunities for women to help them recognize and further develop their strengths. 3. Champion diversity and inclusion across the organization. 4. Support community programs that help to close the gender gap in software and technology. 5. Inspire and educate via a forum for guest speakers to exchange ideas, network, and foster learning. MMwit™ Committees and Working Groups: • Membership Committee is responsible for promoting, growing and retaining MMwit™ membership • Community Outreach is responsible for leading external outreach events to promote girls and women’s advancement in the community • Educational Programing is responsible for leading learning sessions to promote the learning and advancement of women at Modmed • Network Opportunities is responsible for identifying and networking with like minded professionals after work • Public Relations/Social Media Committee is responsible for facilitating promotion of events across work streams to MMwit™ members
