HALO Wind Tunnel

On Friday, May 3, the team at HALO had the opportunity to host 30 individuals as part of COSI's week long Science Festival. Their experience included a tour of the facility followed by an aerodynamic challenge. The group was divided into three teams. Each team worked together to determine which three parts they wanted to apply to the test vehicle to reduce it's aerodynamic drag. Each team's test plan was submitted, and while the tests were running, participants were educated on the variables that influence drag and how the smallest changes can make a significant impact. The event was a huge success! Everyone walked away with a better understanding of the impact that various parts have on the drag on their vehicle. Thank you COSI and for all who attended. The journey is been incredibly, full of great experiences, knowledge and challenges from the Product Engineering, Plastics, Paint and Manufacturing Engineering department. At American Honda Motor Company, Inc. Now I’m in the middle of my EDP (Engineering Development Program) rotations and I’m very excited to share some of my great experiences.
