As someone who has worked as an aerospace engineering instructor and is currently pursuing a Master of Aerospace Engineering at the University of Sydney, I find that the Flying Operation is a great opportunity for me to gain a deeper understanding of both theoretical aerodynamics and practical flying skills. The sensations experienced during airplane climbs, descents, turns, or stalls are unique and offer "once in a lifetime" experiences. The absence of local turbulence is a significant advantage. The full aerodynamic tail prototype consistently demonstrates competitive efficiency, the partial aerodynamic tail prototype exhibits moderate variation, and the fillet edge tail prototype performs well with sensitivity to beta values. The 45-degree triangular (straight) pointy tail shows good overall performance, and the 80-degree triangular (straight and curved) pointy tails demonstrate competitive efficiency.
