At Toyota, we take great pride in helping our team members reach their career aspirations and gain the skills they need to succeed. Angelina A. is just one example of how our team members can grow with us. In just ten years with Toyota, Angelina has worked her way up from a team member at Toyota Motor Manufacturing of Mississippi, to her current role as the Internal Logistics & Pilot Manager at our new electric battery plant in North Carolina. When asked what she would tell candidates about professional development with Toyota, she offered several tips: 1. Get back up and dust yourself off. Failure is part of success, learn from it. 2. Find a mentor you trust to have conversations about career growth and professional development. If you don’t know, you can’t grow. 3. When you get where you are going, don’t forget to send the elevator back down. Teamwork makes the dream work! Are you interested in building a brighter career with Toyota? The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) has designated June as Automotive Service Professionals Month—A time dedicated to recognizing automotive service professionals and the valuable service that they provide on vehicles across the country. This past April, Toyota North America recognized 27 of the top automotive technicians from across the country, including technicians from Puerto Rico, Canada and Mexico. These technicians, called Quality Champions, were selected by their field offices as being the best technician in their region, maintaining a quality mindset in the dealership and providing Toyota North America with highly actionable Dealership Product Reports (DPR) on potential quality concerns. The Quality Champions were flown out to Toyota North America Headquarters in Plano, Texas to explore the headquarters campus, meet with product engineers that utilize their DPR’s, listened in on the Technical Assistance Hotline and so much more. It was a jam-packed day, where they were recognized for all the hard work that they put in to ensure quality for Toyota! Thank you to all our Quality Champions and Automotive Service Professionals for your hard work, dedication and commitment to quality! #LifeatToyota

Rediscover, Reclaim, and Reignite! The second annual Spectrum Summit was a celebration of reflection, connection, and innovation for members of Toyota’s Spectrum Business Partnering Group (BPG), open to all LGBTQ+ team members and allies. From career development workshops to community insights and volunteerism, it was an action-packed four days in Georgetown, Kentucky – home of Toyota’s largest manufacturing facility in the world! 🌟 Toyota executives highlighted the importance and value of allyship on a panel discussion, while Spectrum's own leaders led workshops on mentorship and inclusion. 💼 Giving back was a key component, with Spectrum members volunteering at @avol.ky, an HIV service organization. And no Summit would be complete without recognition! A drag show dinner celebration recognized Spectrum leaders from chapters across North America. 🏳️🌈 Here's to another year of growth, empowerment, and allyship within the LGBTQ+ community! #LoveDrives #LifeatToyota

Toyota Motor North America, guided by its “Empact” vision to address equitable EV charging and mobility for all, recently announced the first communities that will receive DC fast chargers (DCFC): Baldwin Park, Calif., and Sacramento, Calif. “Providing ‘Mobility for All’ is our north star as we look to support and facilitate equitable EV charging opportunities for all customers. We want to help ensure these underserved communities are not overlooked in the EV transition, and providing support for these charging facilities helps provide access to those who may not have easy access to home or public charging options.” -- Christopher Yang, group vice president, Business Development, Toyota Motor North America.
