How can AI create more intuitive, conversational interfaces that empower creativity and independence? By building it in collaboration with the community. As part of our Google Natively Adaptive Interfaces (NAI) Research, see how remarkable blind author Jack Chen works with our researchers to test new AI tools from Google. Our goal: to explore how generative AI can transform research and writing for users who are blind or low vision. 🎥→ https://lnkd.in/gjVwjka9

We've introduced Shadow Hamiltonian Simulation, a novel framework for simulating quantum systems on quantum computers by only keeping track of useful physical properties. This approach enables the efficient simulation of systems like free bosons and free fermions that are exponentially large, where traditional approaches fail. Shadow Hamiltonian Simulation has vast applications in modeling, including quantum chemistry and materials science. Dive into our full research → https://goo.gle/4hTMby0

At Google Research, we're not just improving existing tools; we're pioneering entirely new ways to understand and protect our planet. Yossi Matias, VP and Head of Google Research, highlights our latest work in a new blog post, showcasing the frontier of AI for climate action. We’re now able to: 🛰️ Detect small-scale fires from space at 5mx5m resolution with FireSat, a new satellite system that will provide global updates every 20 minutes 🌍 Ask questions about the planet in natural language with Geospatial Reasoning, a new capability that combines generative AI with massive amounts of Earth observation data to unlock profound insights 🌦️ Provide hyper-local rain forecasts in regions with scarce radar infrastructure, like much of Africa, helping farmers and communities make critical daily decisions This is the future of environmental science, and it’s happening now. We're committed to building these tools in collaboration with experts to accelerate progress for everyone. Dive into the technology behind these breakthroughs at https://goo.gle/3T9JgaD
