J-POWER’s #Ishikari #Hachinosawa #WindFarm is no different and a great example of why GE Vernova’s 4.2-117 #WindTurbine was selected for this project. Ishikari is a location that gets heavy snow and blizzards and experienced whiteouts with severe lightning and thunderstorms during the commissioning of the project. This posed challenges for the project team, who stopped work periodically to prioritize #safety.
