Over 400 women shared their experiences of life in #Norfolk ➡️ bit.ly/4agHNXq When communities speak, we listen. Here are the 7 key findings from our report: 🙋♀️Women identify themselves by their roles and professions rather than solely as "women". 🤱Childcare is a major barrier to women in the workplace. 🫸Prejudice around gender and disability impacts women's employment. 📅Women want activities at times that suit them and to be more aware of what activities are available near them. 👩⚕️Healthcare gender inequalities related to age and ethnicity were identified. 🤦♀️Statutory services are difficult to navigate and men delivering services often don’t understand women's issues. 🛡️Safety is a key concern for women: particularly night time safety, police relations and reporting of crimes.
