Your background will help you to code. Believe me. It will bring different perspectives and insights never questioned or thought of. And that will make the difference 💪 ! #careerchange #community #tech #empowerment #coding #mentoring #mentorship #coach #devs #junior
No matter your background, #coding can be for you! 💻🚀 A recent survey showed that 4 in 5 CodeWomen members have no background in #tech or coding. Within our #community we have scientists, artists, designers, engineers, social workers and more, and each person brings a #unique perspective to the group. We are proud to #empower women+ (trans and non-binary inclusive) who want to launch themselves into the world of coding! By supporting each other, we can overcome our doubts and break #barriers💜 Thanks again to Eva van der Pol for conducting the survey!

Being a woman👩💻 in a man-dominated field such as Software Development can easily make you mimicking male energy and behavior. But in reality your unique feminine energy can become a booster for your team and your professional development. Last week I was delighted to join an amazing Tech event Code Pub for women and other underrepresented genders organized by Netlight&Choco. It became a good reminder for myself that: ✨ I am not alone in this journey ✨ There are so many women outside who work hard, learn, develop themselves and grow ✨ These women are as much into coding as I am and it goes well with lifting my motivation up #womenintech #womenempowerment #softwareengineer

Championing Women in Code: A Celebration of Anita Borg's Legacy More than just lines of code, Anita's journey began with a self-taught passion for coding. Despite a decorated career in the field of computer science, her passion found a haven in bridging the gender gap between women and technology. Her milestones include establishing the first email network for women in coding, and an annual celebration of women, inspired by Grace Hopper. In a world filled with stereotypes, it's important to remember that programming knows no gender. There's a persistent myth that coding is a field exclusive to men, but it's time we lay that notion to rest. This is not just outdated; it's counterproductive. Women in tech are doing amazing things, bringing new ideas and solving tough problems. They've helped build the tech world we know today. Let's keep cheering for women in technology. After all, programming is about loving what you do, being creative, and solving problems, and that's for everyone. . . . . . #WomenInTech #Programming #Diversity

Junior Frontend Developer | React | Javascript | CSS/SCSS | HTML | APIs | Responsive Web Development
As I reflect on my journey into the world of software development, I can't help but feel immense gratitude for the incredible community I've found through Women Who Code. 💻✨ For the past year, I've had the privilege of volunteering with Women Who Code, hosting monthly study groups covering a range of topics in web development such as React, complex Javascript topics, and algorithms. These study groups aren't just about learning new skills; they're about fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for women breaking into the tech field. Being part of this community has been transformative for me. Not only have I had the opportunity to share my knowledge and support others on their learning journeys, but I've also been continuously inspired by the passion and determination of the women I've met along the way. Attending meetups and events organized by Women Who Code has provided me with invaluable networking opportunities, mentorship, and friendships that have aided my growth in software development. Whether it's collaborating sharing resources, or simply encouraging one another, the sense of camaraderie within this community is truly unparalleled. 🌐❤️ Through Women Who Code, I've not only honed my technical skills but also developed the confidence and resilience needed to navigate the challenges of the tech industry. I've learned that success isn't just about individual achievements; it's about lifting each other up and creating space for all voices to be heard. As I continue on my journey, I'm excited to pay it forward and empower more women to pursue their dreams in tech.
